Spring is in full swing and I’m ready to refresh, aren’t you?! This is the perfect time of year to organize, declutter and get ready for the new season. Here are my five favourite ways to refresh for Spring.
We recently rearranged the furniture in our condo and I love how it turned out. Once you’ve lived in your home for a while, I think it’s important to rethink furniture configurations. If you don’t like it, you can always switch it back.
I’ve also packed away our faux fur blankets in exchange for a lighter grey blanket, added flowers, bright throw pillows and a fresh scented candle to complete our home’s transition from Winter to Spring.
New season, New wardrobe! Not exactly, but I’m really excited to pack away my winter boots and coats in exchange for Spring style. This season, I’m on the look out for the perfect trench coat, a classic white shirt and a fun printed sun dress.
I accumulate so much paper work and products in my line of work. I’ve vowed to create a better system to keep my work life organized. I use metal paper holders, cute Kate Spade file folders and brightly coloured storage boxes for products and samples. Now I just need to stay on top of it!
Every Spring, I switch up my make up and beauty products to suit the warmer weather conditions. I’ve swapped my foundation for tinted moisturizer by Mereadesso. It’s super hydrating and wears well in warmer weather. Since I’m wearing less make up, this Pore Vanishing stick from by The Estee Edit is ideal. It smooths out pores, creates an even skin tone, and minimizes shine and oil.
Who doesn’t want a summery glow the minute the weather warms up? I have pretty fair skin, so I use a self tanner that builds colour gradually. Jergen’s Natural Glow self tanner has been a go to for years! The product is easy to control, and doesn’t leave any streaks. It doubles as a moisturizer and is packed with Vitamin E, which is exactly what you need during the Summer.

If you’ve been like me and have avoided the gym the last few months, the sunny Spring days are a BIG reminder that summer is around the corner! I love listening to audio books. I’ll download one that I only listen to while I’m working out. It’s amazing how quick an hour or two will go by then you’re listening to a good book! I’m currently listening to Elizabeth Gilbert’s ‘Big Magic.’ I’m a huge fan of her writing. I’m sure you’re familiar with her wildly popular book ‘Eat Play Love,’ but her follow up book, Committed is fantastic too.
Most people like to listen to something while working out. These Skull Candy ear buds are my favourite. Super comfy and excellent sound quality.
Lastly, I’m also making a conscious effort to drink more water, and a beautiful water bottle like this BKR one definitely reminds me to stay hydrated!
