I was delighted to be invited to try Ladurée new brunch menu. Step inside their darling tea salon and you will instantly be transported to a Parisian oasis. The pretty pastel room located at 1141 Robson Street is a popular spot for afternoon tea and divine desserts. Le Brunch is the latest addition to the world-renowned patisserie’s menu. It’s the perfect place for a taste of Paris, right here in Vancouver.
On weekends, Ladurée is serving all the French favourites: freshly baked pastries, traditional omelettes, croque-monsieurs, and French toast. This isn’t just any French toast. Ladurée’s version is made with brioche bread that is baked in house and topped with raspberry coulis and rose chantilly cream. The brioche is so light and buttery it instantly melts in your mouth. If you’re an avocado toast fan, Ladurée’s version is sure be your new favourite. It’s picture perfect with expertly placed avocado on heavenly brioche toast and finished with a soft boiled egg and salmon.
Complete your Parisian brunch experience with a crisp glass of champagne with fresh strawberries and rose syrup. The salon also has an extensive collection of teas. My favourite is Marie-Antoinette – a beautiful blend of Chinese black tea, rose petals, citrus fruits and honey. For something sweet after, choose from Ladurée’s extensive menu of macarons, cakes and pastries. Le brunch is a decadent and truly delicious experience. What a wonderful way to say ‘salut’ to the weekend!
