Celebrating the Season

Wedgewood Bacchus Style Calling 1

It’s New Years Eve, and as I sit here cozy at home, I can’t help but smile at how wonderful the Holidays have been. December is always a whirlwind, filled with visits, presents and parties. We just returned from spending Christmas in Whistler and we’re getting ready ring in the New Years. After a full and fabulous festive season, I’m excited for some down time to enjoy the last moments of the Holiday season.

One of my highlights was this lovely afternoon Cindy from The Vancouverite and I spent at Bacchus, situated in the Wedgewoood Hotel. We popped into the downtown restaurant for some festive cocktails and delicious bites fireside. It was fun to dress up in sparkles, sip a crisp glass of champagne, and toast all we achieved in 2019.

I still have another week of Holidays and I’m looking forward to time at home to get ready for 2020. The end of the year, and in this case, decade is an opportunity to reflect, relax and think about what’s next. If you’re lucky to have time off, I hope you’re able to make the most of it. I plan to read the books I got for Christmas, watch lots of movies and clean out that closet I’ve been meaning to do. But first, let’s have that champagne and celebrate. Cheers!
