Tis the season for Holiday celebrations, and there are a lot of parties to attend. I’ve teamed up with my girl Cee, from Coco & Vera to share how we plan to dress for the festive season.
Admit it: every year when Christmas comes, you feel compelled to reach into your closet and pull out your lone red dress for its annual debut. We’re big fans of classic Christmas, but when it comes to dressing for holiday parties, the red and green shades we donned so enthusiastically as kids can feel a little tired.
Dressing for the holidays can be challenging. You want to comfortable so you can mingle at the party with ease, warm enough to brave the icy temperatures and still be dressed up for the occasion.
So how do you break out of a holiday dressing rut? Take on a classic, with a twist. Cee and I opted for for Little Black Dresses, but instead of the usual flat black fabric, we looked for dresses with texture. I chose lace, while Cee opted for sequins. We finished off our looks with these super cute (and cozy) fur jackets. Since we were in beautiful Whistler wonderland for these photos, it was only appropriate that we wore ankle boots instead of pumps. They’re comfortable, practical, chic and I will definitely be wearing them into the New Year.
