Marissa Webb Fall 2015

FRONT ROW Stacy London and Coco Rocha
COLOUR PALETTE Fifty shades of grey, with moments of crimson warmth and pale pink
INSPIRATION Bianca Jagger and the boy’s club

Her name is not as well known as Kate Spade or Diane von Furstenburg, but there’s a good chance you own something designed by the talented Marissa Webb. Formerly head of women’s wear at J.Crew, Marissa is now the creative director at Banana Republic, as well as championing her own brand.

For her Fall 2015 Ready-to-Wear show, Webb showcased her signature style; a combinations of chic menswear with feminine elements. Set in monochromatic black and shades of grey, Webb mixed in occasional pieces in pink and framboise. Wide-legged trousers were paired fitted blouses and belted vests, and textured wool outerwear.

Our favourite look was showcased when Webb appeared post-show for a bow in white wide-legged trousers, buttoned vest worn as a shirt, and a black dress-shirt style jacket, perfectly accessories with gold bangles and a medallion chain necklace.
