FRONT ROW ATTENDEES: Stacy London and Music duo & Nashville regulars Lennon & Maisy StellaOne need not fear the enchanted forest if attired in Nicole Miller’s 2015 Fall collection. The beautiful collection was filled with metallics, beading, fringe, fur and leather, set in black and dark jewel tones of teal, merlot and emerald green. The print-loving designer did not stray far from her roots; forest prints, leopard, florals and cameo were all pulled together in a collection that was cohesive, and covet-worthy.
Inspired by the “mythic arts and the mysteries of the dark forest as seen through the eyes of illustrators.” One can imagine the models of Miller’s show tripping through said mystical forest in strappy metallic heals and worn ripped tights in both wonderment and fear at the artist’s created illusion. The designer told Women’s Wear Daily, “Well, I guess if you’re in the woods, you’d get caught on thorns, right?” Touché Ms. Miller, Touché.
