New York Fashion Week kicked off on our second day in the city. We made our way to the Skylight Moynihan, located near Penn Station for our first show of the season, Michael Costello.
Day 1 was HOT! New York felt like the tropics. I admired the ladies who pulled out their Fall fashion looks at first, but after a few hours in all I could think was, you’re crazy! 37 degrees and humid and you’re wearing a feathered coat? Well, it is gorgeous but really?
Fashion Week is always a spectacle, and the people watching is so much fun. It cooled down after a few days later (thank goodness.) So much easier to make sartorial decisions when you don’t have to factor in insane heat!
Jonathon and I headed backstage to interview Michael Costello and watch his truly beautiful runway show. Michael is so passionate about his work, and was really fun to chat with. I’m really excited to share this interview with you next week and SO MUCH MORE New York content. Stay tuned!
