One of the dreamiest locations in Manhattan is the New York Public Library. A white stone staircase leads up to the beautiful building, features beaux art architecture and white marble details. Heavenly.
The library is located right next to Bryant Park, the former location for fashion week. I spent many, many hours here when this was home to the shows. Working backstage on the shows was exhilarating and exhausting. We’d escape the tents on our breaks to sit on these steps to take a breather. By the third day of fashion week, our trips to the library steps was cherished time. It was the perfect place to recharge, and people watch!
It has been many years since the shows were at Bryant Park, but this still remains a part of the city I always like to visit. On our first day in New York, Jonathon and I went to a Yankees x Blue Jays game. This was such a fun night, and on our walk home we passed by Bryant Park. It was a warm summer night and despite it being almost 11pm, the park was filled with people sitting on park benches, laying on the grass, and enjoying the warm evening air. It’s such an enchanting part of the city with a rich history. A dreamy location that had to be captured a few days later, while wearing this white lace dress!
