The fragrance you wear is a very personal choice. Perfume can trigger so many memories. I love smelling a scent and being reminded of a moment in time. As Spring arrives, I’m switching my perfume to something light and feminine. This season I’m wearing Mon Guerlain, Dior Poison Girl and Tory Burch’s Love Relentlessly. Not only do these fragrances smell lovely, but they are all housed in beautiful bottles, like a piece of jewelry for your make up table.
I instantly fell in love with Mon Guerlain’s beautiful new fragrance. Launch earlier this month, the scent is a tribute to today’s femininity. It features notes of Lavender from Provence, Jasmine from India, Sandalwood from Australia and Vanilla from Papua New Guinea. The ‘quadrilobe’ bottle is an iconic Guerlain design. Created in 1908, the design echoes an alchemist’s bottle. A century later, the bottle has been beautifully enhanced by high end glass and gold details to create a piece you’ll be happy to display on your makeup counter.
Dior Poison Girl
Dior has evolved their cult classic fragrance to create Poison Girl. Top notes of Sicilian sweet orange, Calabrian bitter orange, neroli and rose are complemented with tonka bean and vanilla notes. There is something wonderfully familiar about this fragrance. I never owned a Dior scent growing up, but I have fond memories of visiting the fragrance counter as a teenager, testing out all the scents. Dior was always a favourite.
Tory Burch Love Relentlessly
Launched last month, Tory Burch created her latest fragrance, Love Relentlessly with an intent to capture the euphoric feeling of falling in love. This feminine warm floral scent is a delicious mix of fiery pink pepper and patchouli fused with rose and amber. It’s a love letter encased in a jewel-shaped bottle.
