Going to work in the summer is a drag. Sitting at your desk while the sun streams in is tough to power through, especially after an epic long weekend. When we have to stay indoors and be productive, it’s good to be dressed appropriately. Comfortable and stylish for the warm weather, but still office friendly. This is not always the easiest look to achieve. Enter, the gaucho pant. These Gauchos pants have been a life saver this summer. The light fabric, and wide leg cut makes them a breeze to wear. They’re high waisted, which allows you to pair them with a crop top, and not show too much skin. I teach at a fashion school, so I have more leeway in my attire, so I paired these pants with this eyelet lace crop top. Whenever I wear these gauchos, I’m asked were I got them from. They’re from Artizia, and they seem to bring this style back every season. They’re not as wide as culottes, so they’re a lot more flattering to wear. What’s the difference between gauchos and culottes? Check out my Fashion Elements post here.
I also plan to pack these for our trip to Europe in the fall. The fabric doesn’t easily crease, and they can be dressed up, or paired with something more casual. We’ve just decided that our second destination will be Prague! I just started researching this incredible location, that is so rich in history. It looks like a photographer’s dream, and I’m so excited to explore this unique city, in my gaucho pants.
