Switching it up for Spring

B2Sartorial choices can be very confusing this time of year! I’ve been on the seawall on a beautiful sunny, 18+ plus day, then walked up a couple blocks downtown to see Vancouverites in their puffy jackets and winter boots.

B4Winter is official behind us, especially if you live in Vancouver! It’s time to pack away your winter coats and switch up your wardrobe for Spring. This week, I was asked by Vancity Buzz to contribute to an article about ‘How to transition your Winter wardrobe into Spring’ along with 10 other fashion bloggers.

My Tip: “Switch out your winter coat for a denim jacket. It’s the perfect transitional piece for Spring. The denim fabric is light and breathable, but will still keep you warm on cooler evenings.”

I bought this Levi jacket a few years ago, and its become a wardrobe staple. It can get chilly this time of year, so a denim jacket is the perfect seasonable piece. I wore it with this BCBGMAXAZRIA dress that I’ve been dying to wear. Finally the weather is warm enough, but not warm enough to wear without a jacket!

I’ve also switched up my shoes for Spring, and have been living in these Tory Burch espadrilles. Espadrilles are a Spring wardrobe staple for me. I’m actually on the look out for a wedge pair of espadrilles. They are SO comfy!

This super cute peach purse was gifted to me by Holt Renfrew at their Renovations and Spring preview media event. It will be available in stores starting today, and filled with make up goodies, including Kiehls and Laura Meircier.
