The Tommy Hilfiger runway show was a delightful, surreal experience. We made our way down to the Pier at Seaport, and could immediately see Tommy’s carnival in full swing complete with rides, twinkling lights and cotton candy.
I was in section K for the show and when I looked up, I was right opposite Anna Wintour and the whole gang from Vogue. This made the show extra fun to watch. I got to see Anna watch the show, with her signature Venti Starbucks in hand.
Tommy x Gigi
Inspired and designed by Gigi Hadid, this collection was nautical meets street style. It featured classic Tommy themes, sporty, Americana and rock-and-roll. I loved the sailor jackets, fringe neck scarf, and leather pants.
Treats and Sweets
In true carnival style, we enjoyed cotton candy, french fries, hot dogs and so much more before and after the runway show. Those ice cream sandwiches were SO good!
Models strutted down Pier 16, in between the guests and carnival rides. One row of chairs lined the whole pier, which gave everyone standing behind a great view of the show too (and of Anna Wintour if you were lucky!)
Gigi lead the pack of models including Hailey Baldwin, Taylor Hill and Amelia Hamlin.
The finale featured models in identical looks strutting down the runway two by two
The front row was packed with celebrities to cheer on Tommy and Gigi, including Taylor Swift, Martha Hunt, Yolanda Hadid, Kris Jenner and Olivia Palermo.
After the show was completed guests could enjoy the Carnival rides and indulge in the fair food. Pretzels, hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream sandwiches, cotton candy, lobster rolls, doughnuts and French fries. Oh, and the fashion! The entire collection was See Now, Buy Now and available on location and online.
