If you’re enjoying Valentine’s Day in Vancouver this year, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve rounded up our favourite local companies to check out this weekend to mark the romantic Holiday.
Local rose company Landeau creates beautiful buckets of 25 long stem roses. For Valentine’s Day, pale pink and deep red roses are available in Landeau’s signature Parisian inspired hat box. Order your bouquet for Valentine’s Day weekend for pick up at the Douglas Reynolds Gallery on South Granville.
We shot our Valentine’s Day style story at Faubourg Bakery, and had the opportunity to try so many of their delicious treats. We loved the Linzer Cookies, Heart Shaped Macarons and assortment of Valentine’s Day themed macarons.
Have you tried Swedish Candy? If you haven’t yet, you’re missing out! Karameller is a delightful Swedish candy store, located in Yaletown, offering over 100 varieties of candy, each imported from Sweden. They’re free from GMOs, trans fats, and high-fructose corn syrup. With so many cute and delicious candies to choose from, Karameller is a perfect sweet spot to pop by this weekend.
The Hot Chocolate Festival

The festival is a fundraiser for the Downtown Eastside women’s job training program of the PHS Community Services Society and East Van Roasters. Each cafe is creating their own signature hot chocolate drink and delicious chocolate treats as apart of the festival.
