Today, like many of you, is my first day back to work after the Holidays. I’m feeling refreshed and ready to take on 2016 after two luxurious weeks off. But, I’m missing beautiful Whistler wonderland, a lot!
I’m lucky enough to call Whistler home. Located just 2 hours from Vancouver, my family has lived there since we moved to Canada (from South Africa) 14 years ago. If you follow me on instagram, you know I try to come up to visit as often as possible. It truly is one of the most spectacular places in the world.
This winter has been particularly great for outdoor adventures since we had so much snow fall. It was said that Whistler had the best snow conditions in North America! This little slice of heaven is beautiful all year round, but there’s nothing quite like seeing all the snow capped trees, especially during the Holidays.
We spent a glorious 8 days in the mountains with my family, sitting by the fire, making good food, watching movies, and going on many, MANY snowy adventures. Here’s a little glimpse into our photo album from a wonderful White Christmas in Whistler.
Madison blends right in!
Chilling the champagne, Whistler style!
